Train into Amsterdam was nice. First stop Anne Frank house. No tour but looked at the outside of the house. Old churches, some walking, a cheese tasting (amazing), gay pride monument, another church, then more walking. Glad I bought the new pair of walking shoes already. Lunch was on our own at a little bakery, I had a chocolate cheesecake slice that was ok. Brian had great chocolate covered strawberries. A canal tour for about an hour then Art museum with a private tour guide. After that we did the Van Gogh Museum with the audio tour which was very enjoyable. A few beers and a mozzarella and bacon flatbread at Amsterdam Brewing Tap Room, the waitresses were all very nice and friendly. We hoped on the 24 Tram to Amsterdam Central then the City Stopper train to Haarlem and walked home. Drank a bottle of wine to unwind at the hotel. Lots of walking and a lot of fun new experiences today. Early morning tomorrow, 8:10am exit to Germany.
